Our fast-growing Benicia based construction company is expanding. We are seeking a helper to assist our construction professionals. Your job will be to assist the carpenters on the jobsite. including but not limited to, stocking the jobsite, hauling debris, picking up materials, organize and clean tools and equipment, assist in lifting and unloading cabinets, lumber, drywall, Etc. Assist in keeping the jobsite in a clean and safe condition and assist in all aspects of the construction process as assigned. Advancement potential as skills develop.
The best candidate will have clean, dependable transportation, a clear driving record, work well with others, have good communication skills and be good at following directions. You must be at least 18 years old and be able to lift up to 80 pounds. A healthy knowledge of construction is desired and you will need basic tools of your own.

A successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the home improvement industry and understand current building codes. You must be available for full time work with your own vehicle and tools suitable for kitchen and bath remodeling. The perfect candidate will have excellent communication skills, a willingness and talent to maintain a very high standard of craftsmanship and safety, as well as an extraordinary work ethic. You must be seeking long term employment and have a desire to grow and improve in your craft.
All applicants will be required to take a drug test and prove their skills in the field during an initial, paid, probationary work period. You must be dependable and enthusiastic as well as familiar with all phases of construction and read architectural plans. As our newest team member, you will be required to work closely with home owners, building inspectors, and maintain an organized schedule while working with other trade sub-contractors. A professional attitude is essential for joining our team. Knowledge and skill in other trades is a plus.
